What U Know 'Bout Christmas

I bet everybody is pretty pumped for all the sweet swag they just got. Not to mention the necessary meal at Chilis the day after.

I had to get that Pitchfork book to tell me which 500 songs from the last 30 years were the most meaningful. I give it a 7.4 for content, and a 4.2 for originality. VH1 already told me why I liked these decades. The Onion already told me how to review Pitchfork.

Animal Collective leaked too. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's not as good as the last one, but if you are a true fan everything after Sung Tongs sucks. I'm not a true fan you're cool with me bro. I listened to about half of it. "My Girls" and "Daily Routine" were pretty good. Whatevs.

Winning at canasta isn't as fun when people don't enjoy your gloating.

Got this Harry Potter book. It's kinda small. We should go on a mission to find J.K. Rowling's mojo.

Finally bought Chuck Klosterman's new novel "Downtown Owl." It's really cool to dislike him, say he apes Dave Eggers, say he's terrible technical writer, his opinions are banal, but the man can bullshit. This one's fiction though, I'm kind of worried. He's never tackled a character who...isn't himself.

I got Henry Owing's Rock Bible too. Notable Quotes include:

"99% of the time, [keyboards] exponentially remove the "rock" aspect" of rock and add a level to rock music that can only be described as "gay."
